Abstract: We study new examples of translating solitons of the mean curvature flow. We consider for this purpose manifolds admitting pseudo-Riemannian submersions and cohomogeneity one actions by isometries on suitable open subsets. This general setting also covers the well-known classical Euclidean examples of translating solitons invariant by some group actions. As an application, we completely classify the rotationally invariant translating solitons in Minkowski space.
